We welcome inquiries from talented volunteers/interns who are interested in dedicated their time to support one of our projects. We make every effort to tailor support to meet the needs of our organization and the professional development goals of the individual we are working with. Local, remote and in-field opportunities are currently available with RJF.

In the Office

We are looking for individuals who have an interest in contributing their skills locally in fundraising, program development, marketing and communications, operations, and technical support.

We strive to connect student research to on-the-ground needs in the communities where we are working. We recognize and have seen first hand the benefit that both students and communities receive from this partnership. Currently, we are actively working with students in the USA and Nicaragua and have opportunities for students that are interested in conducting their research in conjunction with the organization in areas related to mangrove restoration, agriculture, watershed management, water quality, reforestation, waste management, visual documentation, community development, and education.

Field Experience

RJF seeks students/volunteers interested in gaining hands-on experience for school requirements or professional/personal development by supporting the needs of one of our projects in the San Juan del Sur Region of Nicaragua. We have ongoing opportunities for professionals with expertise in any of our project focus areas (hydrology, agriculture, education, Teaching English as a Second Language etc.).
